Magic Scroll was founded by Joe Brommel in 2024 to provide websites that respect attention, writing with intention, and systems that put people over process.
I (Joe, hello) have been here in some capacity since 2017. I started as an intern, worked on our old website while I finished school, came back to Wassaic for a couple summers, and worked full-time for WP from 2020–2024. Pretty much everything I have to say about the Wassaic Project is in the writing around the site, which I built alongside our designers at Studio Bueno in 2023.
Today, I run this website, write fundraising materials and special editorial projects, and maintain the technology that makes WP run behind the scenes — our Salesforce, our Shopify store, integrations, etc. If you have any feedback or find any broken links, email me!
