I moved to Sharon in 2016 with my husband and two kids, and the Wassaic Project and The Lantern immediately became an important part of our lives — somewhere we could connect with friends and family, meet new people, and see and make art. Whenever I arrive in Wassaic, I feel a sense of sureness we will be warmly welcomed into the community and a sense of anticipation that something unexpected will add to the way I see the world.
I’m honored to be a part of the Wassaic Project team and lend some of my non-profit arts administration experience gained during my career at MoMA. I feel lucky to count Bowie, Jeff, and Eve as friends — their warmth and enthusiasm for making an impact on this special part of the world that we all call home is admirable and contagious.
