BOREDOM IS A LUXURY is the latest work in a series of text-based sculptures by Jesse Walton. In this series, Walton memorializes phrases found in the wild; idioms overheard in conversation, words scribbled on walls, profound statements, etc. BOREDOM IS A LUXURY was constructed using the artist’s 2x4 Font, which was designed to transform the written word into sculpture using everyday construction materials.
