Do you like to break stuff? Do you like to figure out how it worked before you broke it? Do you like building things that nobody’s ever imagined before? Do you like music? If you answered yes to ANY of these questions then the Piano Wreckers Ball is for you! We will carefully, but with great vigor, demolish old, donated pianos and other pieces of musical junk and reassemble them into brand new instruments, or maybe even one giant mobile musical laboratory. After we’ve invented our new instrument, we’ll learn to play it. Then we’ll compose a brand new piece, or learn one of our favorite songs, and perform it for friends and family. Camp leader is are Tim Love Lee: musician, DJ, owner and founder of Tummy Touch Records, and 36th-best trip hop producer of all time. No previous experience is necessary, but kids should be prepared to wield tools and get dirty!
Before the first day of camp:
1) Fill out the registration and payment information below.
2) Read and sign our photo release.
3) Ask your pediatrician to complete this medical form. (Please note that proof of vaccination is required. We will continue to evaluate the COVID-19 risk in our area and refer to CDC guidelines for our camps.)

We’re committed to making sure our education programming is accessible to everyone who wants to participate. If the cost of camp presents a significant financial burden, reach out to jill@wassaicproject.org and we'll be happy to offer a full or partial scholarship.
