Breanne Trammell, Nails in the Key of Life

Q + A with Breanne: Friday and Saturday, 3-4pm, outside Maxon Mills
Nails in the Key of Life seeks to connect to a broad audience through the act of performing manicures. Breanne will perform 10 manicures at the Festival. The 10 manicures will be performed as a limited edition and each manicure participant will receive a signed and numbered certificate of authenticity.
Raffle tickets for manicures are $5 each. Available for purchase in the Wassaic Project store in Maxon Mills. Or purchase raffle tickets in advance here. Everyone has a fair chance! Participants will be chosen at random from the raffle ticket pool. Raffle ticket drawings for manicures will be held nightly at 8pm at the Luther Barn stage.

Man Bartlett, #RunOfTheMill
Ongoing, Maxon Mills
Attendees are invited to tag their photos of Wassaic and the Festival to Instagram with the hashtag #RunOfTheMill. These photos will be in direct competition with those simultaneously being uploaded by the artist Man Bartlett to create an alternative version of history (which will be viewable via the the same hashtag). In addition to Instagram, people can also follow the hashtag #RunOfTheMill on Twitter for updates of a misleading nature.
Jeannine Han, Sophy Naess + Dan Riley, Atelier ‘Air in a G String’

The Atelier is the set of an opera where participants create a production directed by the artists on set; selecting a score, costumes, and backdrop through various interactions which results in the performance.

Come sample the foods that shape civilization and the future of farming.
Andrea Mazzariello, vs. The New Machine
Saturday, noon, 1st Floor, Maxon Mills
For this performance, Andrea plays keys and pads that trigger short fragments of chopped-up original songs, and sing over the top of this texture in order to put the pieces back together again.
Abby Manock, Blind Blowout at Santa Banana
Friday, 4:30pm / Saturday, 11:30am and 3:30pm / Sunday, 3:00, 4th Floor, Maxon Mills
Blind Blowout at Santa Banana is a remake of the 1914 silent short comedy “A Blowout at Santa Banana” in which visuals are replaced with sound. Audience Participation Encouraged.
Family Workshop: PowerSuit Making led by Aliya Rose Bonar
Saturday, 1-2pm, Luther Barn Field
The PowerSuit represents the coat of armor that your most powerful and courageous self could wear. Who is your super self? At this workshop kids and adults will create their PowerSuits to wear throughout the festival.
Jing Yu, Katy Perry Piñata (For a Birthday Party or Bat Mitzvah)
Saturday, 3:00 pm, Luther Barn
Festivalgoers are invited to participate in the breaking of the piñata. Whacks will be doled out on a first come basis, but all candy and prizes are up for grabs!
Claire Epstein & Mollie McKinley, Close Reading on a Raft

A minimalistic 293-sentence theatrical adaptation of Huck Finn created in accordance with one unbreakable rule: distill the essence of each page of the novel into a single sentence.
