Explore contemporary art and creative collaboration at Camp Wassaic! For students entering grades 6-9.*

The Wassaic Project is excited to launch its pilot year of Camp Wassaic in August 2016! Campers will experiment with a variety of creative processes and ideas and collaborate with Wassaic Artists in Residence on a giant art project. Activities include daily drawings and art games, testing and playing with a range of art materials and practices, touring the Wassaic Project Summer Exhibition and the Wassaic Artist in Residence studios, and bringing it all together to design and make a collaborative art installation. Participants will build artistic, creative problem-solving, and design-thinking skills.

Camp Wassaic will be led by the Wassaic Project Education team and Wassaic Artists in Residence. The camp will make use of the dynamic buildings and resources of the Wassaic Project. The only requirement is that campers must love making things!
