Education: Ceramics Intensive for Youth

Ceramics Intensive for Youth

A workshop over Spring Break for youth ages 10-14

Sign your child up today for an immersive hands-on workshop focusing on clay taught by ceramist and educator Jhanna Kosicki and Wassaic Print Fellow Keely Snook. We will learn hand-building methods such as pinch pots, coil building, and slump molds. Students will explore different methods of making their own stamps using various objects (food, trees, fabric, etc.) and carving techniques.

Classes run April 10-14th, M-F from 10a-3p. Please send a bagged lunch with your child. Snacks and drinks will be provided.

Please email tara@wassaicproject.org to sign up. The cost of the workshop is $150 but scholarships are available. No one turned away for lack of funds.
