for the Wassaic Project Festival Weekend!
The Wassaic Project encourages local residents to rent rooms, entire homes, or extra space with the listing service Airbnb.com. The listing service specializes in short-term house, apartment, and “spare room” rentals. This is a great way for local residents to make a little extra cash and get to know some of our extended community during the Wassaic Project Festival weekend.
Because it takes a few days to get listed and approved on Airbnb.com, the Wassaic Project urges those who are interested to start now, so your listing will appear when the Wassaic Project website and newsletter begins directing potential festival-goers to the Airbnb.com website.
List your space online at Airbnb.com through a questionnaire, detailing your lodging accommodations. Be specific and provide photos when possible. As the Wassaic Project’s camping options are not ideal for every guest, Airbnb is an excellent opportunity to provide nearby lodging for our festival guests. Accommodations with easy access to the Wassaic Project by foot, bike, and to the Wassaic Metro North stop will be particularly popular.
There is no fee for your listing; however, Airbnb (not the Wassaic Project) collects a small percentage of the rental fee for processing the transaction, should your room, house, or apartment be rented.
